We have been providing security to outdoor events since 2001. The events we currently work at range in size from 2,000 people to 10,000 people, no event is too small. Our team is made up of both SIA licensed and trained stewards, and we choose our team specifically for each event depending on what the organiser requires from us. We can also provide a consultancy service to event organisers, which can include risk assessments and help with the event planning and organisation. |

Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work HABC are pleased to offer the HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work as an accredited qualification. The course will familiarise students with the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider, including assessing an incident, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, and assisting a casualty who is suffering from injury and illness. Students will learn and be assessed on their practical ability to deal with casualties who have stopped breathing, are unconscious, are bleeding and suffering from shock.The minimum contact time for the course is 6 hours. This can be split over a maximum of 4 weeks, with sessions lasting no less than 2 hours. Candidates are assessed by ongoing practical assessment by the Tutor throughout the course. All successful students will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications. Centres who deliver EFAW must abide by the HSE Minimum Training Standard for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, and the Training Standard for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) (NI) Regulations 1982. The document has been produced by the HSE and sets out a training standard that Awarding Bodies and HSE Centres alike must adhere to. 3-Day First Aid at Work It is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers should ensure the health and safety and welfare of their employees and the public. Employees must also provide adequate personnel, training and equipment to render first aid to their employees.This qualification covers the 3 day First Aid at Work course. All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications.Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid HABC are pleased to offer the Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid accredited qualification. The course provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Candidates will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation including being able to provide first aid for a child and an infant who;
For the purposes of Registered Childcare provision and Early Years childcare within England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Candidate must successfully complete the full 2 day Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid. The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage is a document published by The Department for Children, Schools and Families and applies to Early Years childcare within England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Statutory Framework states that ‘at least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises at all times when children are present. There must be at least one person on outings who has a current paediatric first aid certificate.’ The HABC Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid is recognised as a qualification that fulfills this need. |
