We have been providing security to outdoor events since 2001. The events we currently work at range in size from 2,000 people to 10,000 people, no event is too small. Our team is made up of both SIA licensed and trained stewards, and we choose our team specifically for each event depending on what the organiser requires from us. We can also provide a consultancy service to event organisers, which can include risk assessments and help with the event planning and organisation.

Under the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must undertake a recognised qualification before applying for a licence.

The HABC Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA 'Specifications for Learning and Qualifications for CCTV Control Room Operators (PSS)' and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV Operative.

The qualification comprises 3 mandatory units:

Unit 1 - Working in the Private Security Industry
Unit 2 - Working as a CCTV Operator
Unit 3 - Practical operation of CCTV equipment

This qualification can enable the learner to progress onto the NVQ in Providing Security Services or undertake further learning in other areas of the private security industry such as Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
