Level 2 Conflict Resolution, CIEH + S.R.T. - Spontaneous Response Training. - £ 59 per person A Nationally recognised qualification issued by the CIEH. This is then followed by RPL Safety Consultancy's Spontaneous Response Training (SRT), which is only available to people who are physically fit. Students are put into a situation where they have to react to a threat - an Instructor in a padded suit. This is videoed and analysed then the student is given advice on how they can adapt their spontaneous reaction to the threat, into an effective 'move', with the intention of creating time to escape the threat. |

Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace - £49 per person This qualification focuses on the importance of
maintaining health and safety and ensuring that employee actions reduce
risks in the workplace. Candidates will gain a sound first level understanding
of all aspects of health and safety including legislation, fire procedures,
chemical safety, manual handling and personal protective equipment.

Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace - £55 per person The aim of the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification is to provide candidates with knowledge of the basic Health and Safety practices that are essential in the workplace. This includes the hazards and risks presented in the workplace along with the relevant legislation, and ensures awareness of cost-effective, practical control methods. The qualification is applicable for any private or public sector working environment and provides employees with an awareness of their own safety, as well as the safety of customers, contractors and members of the public. The achievement of the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification will enable learners to work safely and to recognise and deal with hazards in the workplace. The Ofqual approved HABC Level 2 Award in Health
and Safety in the Workplace qualification has been developed specifically
for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework with full
support from ENTO. It is therefore fully cognisant with industry and
regulatory standards as well as being recognized by The Health and Safety
Executive, Auditors and other Enforcement Officers. |

Level 3 Award in Supervising Health and Safety in the Workplace - £165 per person (3 day course) The HABC Level 3 Award in Supervising Health and Safety in the Workplace provides progression from the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace and is intended principally for those who are operating in a supervisory or managerial role. Qualification holders will have gained a wide range of knowledge on health and safety Law, the hazards present in a workplace and how to implement effective and necessary controls. The HABC Level 3 Award in Supervising Health and
Safety in the Workplace will equip candidates with the skills necessary
for the effective supervision of staff. It will also focus on the importance
of the health and safety culture of a business which will be an invaluable
resource to those taking the qualification. Furthermore, holders of the Level 3 Award will assist
businesses to demonstrate their legal requirement to engage a 'competent
person'. |

Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work - £49 per person HABC are pleased to offer the HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work as an accredited qualification. The course will familiarise students with the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider, including assessing an incident, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, and assisting a casualty who is suffering from injury and illness. Students will learn and be assessed on their practical ability to deal with casualties who have stopped breathing, are unconscious, are bleeding and suffering from shock. The minimum contact time for the course is 6 hours. This can be split over a maximum of 4 weeks, with sessions lasting no less than 2 hours. Candidates are assessed by ongoing practical assessment by the Tutor throughout the course. All successful students will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications. |

3-Day First Aid at Work - £165 per person It is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers should ensure the health and safety and welfare of their employees and the public. Employees must also provide adequate personnel, training and equipment to render first aid to their employees. This course replaces the 4 day course and is the most popular course available for employees who require qualified first aiders. All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications. |

Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid - 2 day - £90 per person HABC are pleased to offer the Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid accredited qualification. The course provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Candidates will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation including being able to provide first aid for a child and an infant who;
For the purposes of Registered Childcare provision and Early Years childcare within England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Candidate must successfully complete the full 2 day Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid. The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage is a document published by The Department for Children, Schools and Families and applies to Early Years childcare within England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Statutory Framework states that ‘at least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises at all times when children are present. There must be at least one person on outings who has a current paediatric first aid certificate.’ The HABC Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid is recognised as a qualification that fulfills this need.

Introduction to Stewarding - P.O.A. This 14 hour classroom based course gives a great grounding to Stewarding of all sorts of events. People who attend this course also get a 7 hour 'practical', at an outdoor event. Many of the students of this course have gone on to work at professional football clubs, complete their door supervisor course and work at outdoor events for security companies.
